Welcome

Welcome to SacredBite, where we celebrate the divinity naturally inherent in food! Food is the substance of life. We cannot live without it; we are in a dynamic relationship with food for the entirety of our lives. Although the earth produces more than enough food to adequately feed everyone on the planet, our constant cravings for comfort and convenience are leading us towards the exhaustion of a great many of our natural resources.

SacredBite inspires us to nourish our relationship with food for the benefit of our individual, communal, and environmental well-being. It helps us begin to recover the body-centered spirituality necessary to restore our natural relationship with the environment, and to bring about eco-justice. So come and join me at the table, where we will feast upon the most current and scientifically reliable nutrition information, nutritious and delicious recipes, and nutrition tips to feed both body and soul!

Diabetes

To lower your risk of diabetes, exercise regularly. Being sedentary impairs the body's ability to handle glucose (blood sugar). Exercise helps you maintain a healthy weight and blood pressure, which also reduces the risk of diabetes.
